Alright, so I'm doing my first out-of-town show next month, about a 5-hour drive. I've got my prep down for being at home, but the idea of traveling during peak week is giving me serious stress. I'm trying to think of everything, but I know I'll forget something crucial.

What are your must-have items for a competition travel kit? Beyond the obvious (trunks, tan, food), what are the little things that make a big difference? I'm thinking about things like a mini-fridge for the hotel, my own distilled water supply, maybe a portable mirror for checking conditioning. How do you keep your food intake perfectly consistent when you're on the road and reliant on hotel kitchenettes or takeout?

Any horror stories or brilliant hacks for making travel less stressful during those critical final days? Especially concerned about staying hydrated/dehydrated precisely and not messing up my carb load with unexpected restaurant ingredients. Any advice from seasoned road warriors would be appreciated!
