Struggling with Sleep During Peak Week – Any Tips to Catch Z's?
Man, I'm absolutely shattered. This is my second peak week, and just like the first, sleep has gone completely out the window. Between the hunger pangs, the constant dehydration, and the mental stress of everything, I'm lucky if I get 4-5 hours a night, and it's always broken sleep.
I know sleep is crucial for recovery, muscle fullness, and just generally not being a zombie on stage, but I just can't seem to shut my brain off. I've tried turning off screens an hour before bed, meditation apps, dark room, cool temperature, all the usual advice.
Are there any peak-week specific strategies or supplements (that are competition-safe, obviously!) you guys use to help with sleep? I'm getting desperate. I feel like I'm sabotaging my look by not getting enough rest. What's your secret to finally catching some decent Z's when your body and mind are in overdrive?
