For those of you who've competed in shows with separate pre-judging and evening finals, do you make any adjustments to your look between the two? I'm talking about food, water, pump-up strategy, or even tanning touch-ups.

I've heard some guys will have a small meal and a sip of water after pre-judging to try and fill out a tiny bit more for the evening show, especially if they felt a little flat. Others say stick to exactly what you did for pre-judging, don't mess with it. And then there's the tanning aspect – do you reapply glaze or touch up any patchy spots?

My pre-judging is usually around 10 AM, and finals don't start until 6 PM, so there's a fair bit of time in between. What's your protocol for that gap? Do you rest, eat, hydrate, or try to maintain the same exact state? I want to make sure I'm bringing my absolute best package for both rounds.
