Why You Are Not Gaining Weight Despite Eating More
If the lifts are going up but the scale isn't, you might be going through a recomp phase, especially if you're a newer lifter. But eventually, you'll need that weight to climb to keep the strength gains coming.
I found that eating 4-5 smaller meals was easier than trying to cram everything into 3. My stomach just couldn't handle 1200 calorie sittings.
Same here. I carry a bag of almonds or a protein bar with me everywhere. Grazing helps reach the goal without the bloat.
One thing nobody mentioned: check your digestion. If you're running to the bathroom 5 times a day, you might not be absorbing what you're eating.
Good point Mike. If your gut is a mess, the bulk is going to fail. Probiotics or just simplifying the diet can help.
Digestion seems fine, thankfully. I think I just need to be more disciplined with the tracking and stop underestimating my Sunday activity. Appreciate all the help!
