Why Do I Feel Sick After Taking Pre Workout on an Empty Stomach
I usually train early in the morning before breakfast and I take my pre workout as soon as I wake up. Lately I have been feeling very nauseous and sometimes I even have to stop my workout because I feel like I am going to be sick. It is really frustrating because I need the energy to train.
I am in the US and I am using a standard pre workout with about 250mg of caffeine. Is this sickness common when taking supplements on an empty stomach? I am wondering if I should try eating a small snack like a banana or a rice cake before I take it.
Have any of you dealt with this? I really want to keep my fasted training routine but I cannot handle the nausea every morning. I would love to hear your suggestions for making it easier on the stomach. Maybe I should switch to a different brand or a lower dose of caffeine.
