Whey Isolate vs Casein Protein Stacks for Night Recovery
I am confused about the best way to use protein for recovery. I am comparing whey isolate vs casein protein stacks for night recovery. I have heard that Whey is better for immediate post workout repair because it is fast acting, while Casein is better before bed because it is slow release.
I am in the UK and I am currently doing a late evening session. I am wondering if I should have a Whey shake right after the gym and then a Casein shake right before I go to sleep. Or is it better to just mix them together? I want to make sure my muscles have a steady supply of amino acids while I am dreaming.
