Wendtler 531 Program Variations Which One to Choose
I have decided to start Jim Wendtler 531 program but there are so many variations in the books that I am completely lost. I am looking for something that balances strength and a bit of hypertrophy since I am still relatively small for my height.
I was looking at Boring But Big because the high volume seems like it would be great for size but I am worried about the fatigue levels. Then there is the First Set Last option which seems more manageable for a busy schedule. I work a full time job and I cannot spend two hours in the gym every day.
What is your favorite version of 531 for someone who wants to get strong but also look like they lift? I am leaning towards the BBB Beefcake variation I saw online but I would love some input from people who have actually run these templates. Is the original 531 still effective or are the newer versions better?
