I am trying to decide between switching to an upper lower split or a push pull legs routine for my next 12 week block. I have been doing a 5 day bro split for years but I feel like hitting muscles twice a week might be better for my goals.
My main focus is aesthetics and symmetry. I feel like my legs are lagging behind my upper body because I only train them once a week right now. An upper lower split would mean I hit them twice, which sounds painful but necessary.
For those of you in the US who have busy work schedules, which one do you find easier to stick to? I am worried that push pull legs requires too many days in the gym per week. I want to maximize my time without sacrificing my gains.
