Top Mobility Exercises for Shoulder Health
I have been dealing with some minor impingement in my left shoulder and I am looking for the top mobility exercises for shoulder health. I want to make sure I am keeping the joint stable and moving correctly during my overhead presses. I have started doing face pulls but I feel like I need more than that.
I am looking for movements that target the rotator cuff and the serratus anterior. I have heard that scapular push ups and wall slides are very effective for getting the shoulder blades moving properly. I am also wondering if I should be doing more stretching for my chest and lats to open up the space in the joint.
What do you all do to keep your shoulders healthy for the long term? I am in the US and I want to keep lifting heavy for as long as possible. If you have a specific warm up or recovery routine for your shoulders please share it with me. I do not want to end up with a tear!
