Top 10 Recovery Stretches for Office Workers
I spend eight hours a day hunched over a desk and my body feels like it is starting to lock up. I am looking for the top 10 recovery stretches for office workers that I can do during my lunch break or after work. I have a lot of tension in my upper back and my hips feel like they are permanently flexed.
I have started doing some chin tucks and some doorway stretches for my chest. I am also trying to stand up and move around every hour but it is hard when I am in the zone. I am in Canada and I find that the cold weather makes my muscles feel even tighter than usual.
What are your go to moves for reversing the effects of sitting all day? I am looking for simple stretches that do not require me to change into gym gear. I want to feel more mobile and less stiff by the time I get home in the evening. Any advice from fellow desk warriors would be much appreciated!
