I am always on the move in London and I find it hard to find good high protein snacks that are not just another bar full of sugar. I am trying to stick to a plant based diet while I train for my first marathon and lift three days a week.
What are your favorite portable snacks? I have been doing roasted chickpeas and edamame beans but I need something with a bit more punch. I have tried the Trek bars and they are okay but I am looking for something more whole food based if possible.
Are there any specific UK brands that you guys recommend for quick protein on the go? I am trying to keep my energy up between my commute and my evening sessions at the gym. Any suggestions would be brilliant!
