I have been working from home for three years now and my old drip machine finally gave up on me. I am looking for a serious upgrade to my home office coffee setup. I have been researching the best coffee makers for 2026 and there are so many options.

I am torn between a high-end burr grinder and a pour-over setup or just going for a super-automatic espresso machine like a Jura or Delonghi. I love the idea of pressing a button and getting a latte, but the maintenance on those machines seems like a lot of work.

Has anyone tried the new smart brewers that you can control from your phone? I am not sure if I need that level of tech just for a morning cup of joe. My budget is around 800 dollars, so I want something that will last.

What are you all drinking while you work? I need something that keeps me caffeinated through back-to-back Zoom calls.
