The Ultimate Post Workout Stack for Rapid Repair
I am a firm believer that you do not grow in the gym, you grow while you are recovering. I am looking to build the ultimate post workout stack for rapid repair. I am in Canada and I am doing a very high frequency program right now, so I need my muscles to fix themselves as fast as possible.
I am thinking about a mix of Whey Isolate, highly branched cyclic dextrin, Creatine, and maybe some Leucine to really spike protein synthesis. I have also heard that adding some sea salt to the post workout shake can help with rehydration. I want to feel ready to go again within 24 hours.
What does your post workout nutrition look like? Do you think a specialized stack is better than just having a solid meal an hour later? I am looking for any tips or secret ingredients that you find make a massive difference in how quickly you bounce back from a brutal session!
