Tennis Elbow vs Golfers Elbow Symptoms and Treatments
I have a sharp pain on the outside of my elbow that gets worse whenever I do pull ups or even just pick up a grocery bag. I am trying to figure out the difference between tennis elbow vs golfers elbow symptoms and treatments. It sounds like I have lateral epicondylitis based on what I have read online.
I have tried taking some Ibuprofen and using an elbow strap during my workouts but the relief is only temporary. I am wondering if I should focus more on eccentric strengthening or if I just need to rest it completely. I am based in London and my GP just told me to take a break but that is hard for me to do.
Has anyone here successfully treated this without taking months away from the gym? I have heard that using a FlexBar for the Tyler Twist exercise is supposed to be very effective. I would love to hear if any of you have used that or if there are other stretches that worked for you.
