There is a big debate online about training to failure versus leaving a couple of reps in the tank. I have always been told that if you do not go to absolute failure, you are not growing. But lately, I am hearing that it just causes too much fatigue.

I want to know what you guys do for your aesthetics training. Do you take every single set to the point where you cannot move the bar, or do you stop when your form starts to break down? I feel like I am always exhausted and I wonder if this is why.

I am trying to build a balanced physique and I do not want to burn out. Is there a middle ground? Maybe only go to failure on the last set of each exercise? I would appreciate any advice on how to manage intensity for long term muscle building.
