I am seting up a home gym in Texas and I am wondering should you buy a Texas Power Bar for your home gym? I have used them at various gyms over the years and I love the aggressive knurling and the lack of whip. It feels like a very solid bar for all the main powerlifts.

The price is a bit higher than some of the budget bars from Rogue or Titan but I have heard they last a lifetime. I am worried that the knurling might be too sharp for daily use without some heavy calluses. I also want to know how the finish holds up against rust in a humid garage.

Is it the best all around power bar for 2026? I do not plan on doing any Olympic lifting so I do not need a bar with a lot of spin. If you have one please let me know your thoughts on the quality and if you would buy it again. I want to make sure I am investing my money wisely.
