I am considering jumping on a Sheiko program for my next meet prep but the sheer volume of it is intimidating. I have been training for about five years and my total is around 650kg. I feel like I need a high volume approach to keep making progress.

The way the program is laid out with multiple sessions of the same lift in one day is very different from anything I have done before. I am looking at the Sheiko Gold app or just following one of the classic numbered programs like 37 or 32. I am worried about the time commitment though.

Has anyone here successfully run Sheiko as an advanced lifter? How did you find the recovery and did it actually lead to a big total increase? I am especially curious about how it affects your bench press since the frequency is so much higher than a typical 5x5 or powerbuilding split.
