I have noticed that my strength takes a hit whenever I lower my fat intake too much. I have been reading about the role of healthy fats in natural testosterone production and I want to make sure I am getting enough during this bulk.
I currently get my fats from avocados, nuts, and olive oil. I am aiming for about 0.5g of fat per pound of bodyweight. Is this enough or should I go higher? I want to keep my hormone levels optimized so I can make the most of my time in the gym.
What are your favorite sources of healthy fats? Have you noticed a link between your fat intake and your mood or libido? I think this is an underrated part of a bulking diet and I would love to hear some more experiences on the topic.
