Review of Theragun vs Hypervolt for Muscle Recovery
I am thinking about investing in a high end massage gun to help with my recovery between heavy sessions. I have a lot of scar tissue in my quads and lats and I find that foam rolling is just not cutting it anymore. I am stuck between the Theragun PRO and the Hypervolt 2 Pro.
The Theragun seems to have a deeper stroke length but it is also much louder than the Hypervolt. Does the extra power actually make a difference for deep tissue work? I have also heard that the battery life on the Hypervolt is slightly better which would be nice for when I am travelling.
If you have used both of these devices I would love to hear your thoughts on which one is more durable. They are both quite expensive so I want to make sure I am making the right choice. Is there a cheaper alternative that performs just as well or are these the gold standard for a reason?
