Oura Ring Gen 3 vs Samsung Galaxy Ring for Sleep Tracking
I am deciding between the Oura Ring Gen 3 and the new Samsung Galaxy Ring for sleep tracking. I am based in Toronto and I find that wearing a watch to bed is just too bulky and uncomfortable. I want something subtle that will give me accurate data on my REM and deep sleep stages.
The Oura seems to be the market leader but the monthly subscription is a bit of a turn off. I have heard that the Samsung ring might not require a subscription if you already have a Galaxy phone which I do. I am curious about the build quality and how they handle scratches from gym equipment.
Does anyone wear their smart ring while lifting? I am worried about the ring getting crushed or causing a callous. If you have experience with either of these for recovery tracking please share your experience with the app and the accuracy of the sensors.
