I am finally ready to invest in a proper pair of lifters and I am stuck in the classic debate of Nike Romaleos 4 versus the Adidas Adipower 3. I have been using some old Reebok lifters for years but they are starting to fall apart after a lot of sessions in my London gym.

The Nikes look incredibly stable with that wide heel but I have heard they are quite heavy and narrow. My feet are a bit on the wider side so I am worried they might pinch during a long workout. The Adidas seem a bit more flexible and modern but I do not want to sacrifice that rock solid feeling during heavy squats.

Has anyone here tried both and can give a real comparison of the fit and feel? I am especially interested in how the heel height feels for Olympic movements versus just standard back squats. I want something that will last me another five years at least.
