Ketogenic Diet for Fat Loss Review and Personal Results
I have been on the ketogenic diet for about six weeks now and I wanted to share my results. I have lost about 12 pounds and I feel like my hunger is much more controlled than when I was on a high carb diet. I am eating a lot of healthy fats and keeping my carbs under 20 grams.
The first week was really tough with the keto flu but once I got through that my energy levels have been pretty stable. I am in the UK and I have found some great low carb products at Holland and Barrett. I am still lifting weights but my top end strength has definitely taken a small hit.
Has anyone else here had long term success with keto for fat loss? I am wondering if I should stay on it forever or if I should eventually transition back to a more balanced diet. I would love to hear your experiences and any tips for staying in ketosis.
