I am seriously considering throwing my bathroom scale out of the window. I have been working out consistently and I feel stronger, but the number on the scale has not moved in three weeks. It is so stressful and it makes me want to slash my calories even though I know I need fuel to lift.

I have heard some people say that measurements and photos are way better for tracking progress. The scale does not account for muscle gain or water retention after a heavy leg day. I am trying to convince myself that the number does not define my worth as a lifter.

How often do you guys weigh yourselves? Or have you stopped entirely? I am curious if anyone has found that ignoring the scale actually helped them reach their goals faster because they were less stressed out about daily fluctuations.
