Is the PlayStation 6 Rumor Mill Accurate What We Know So Far

I have been seeing so many rumors about the PlayStation 6 lately and I am wondering how much of it is actually true. Some people are saying it will launch as early as 2027 with massive AI-driven graphics improvements.

I still feel like the PS5 has not even reached its full potential yet, especially with how long it took to actually be able to buy one. Is it really time to start thinking about the next generation? I have heard rumors about a disc-less future, which would be a shame for those of us with a large physical collection.

What features are you all hoping to see in the PS6? I am personally hoping for full backward compatibility all the way back to the PS1, but I know that is a long shot. Better thermal management would also be nice so it does not sound like a jet engine.

I am curious if anyone has heard anything concrete from reliable sources. I am trying to decide if I should buy a PS5 Pro now or just wait for the next big thing.
