I am a graphic designer and I am looking for a new device that I can use for both work and personal use. I love the idea of the Microsoft Surface Pro 11 because of the stylus and the portability. I am wondering if it can actually replace my laptop for heavy design work.

I use Adobe Creative Cloud all day, so I need something with a lot of RAM and a fast processor. I have heard that the new Snapdragon chips in the Surface are really impressive, but I am worried about app compatibility. Does Photoshop run natively and smoothly?

I also want to know how the battery life is in the real world. Microsoft always claims huge numbers, but I have found that they rarely live up to them when you are actually doing work. I do not want to be tethered to a charger all day.

If you have the new Surface Pro, how has your experience been? Is the keyboard cover worth the extra cost or should I look for a third-party option? I really want to love this device but I need to know it can handle my workflow.
