Is Rhodiola Rosea Better for Mental Fatigue or Physical Recovery
I have been looking into adaptogens and I am wondering if rhodiola rosea is better for mental fatigue or physical recovery. I am in the UK and I have a very demanding job that leaves me mentally drained even before I hit the gym. I want something that helps me push through the brain fog and still have a productive workout.
I have heard that Rhodiola is great for increasing endurance and reducing the perception of effort. I am also curious if it helps with the recovery of the central nervous system after very heavy lifting. I am thinking about taking it in the morning along with my coffee.
Have any of you used Rhodiola as part of your training routine? I am curious about the dosage and if you found it more effective for your mind or your body. I would love to hear your experiences with this herb and if it helped you handle a higher training volume!
