Is Peanut Butter Good for Bulking or Just High Fat

I eat about four tablespoons of peanut butter every day because it is such an easy way to get calories in. I am starting to wonder if I am overdoing the fats though. Is peanut butter actually a good bulking food or is it just making me fat?
I use the natural stuff with no added sugar, but the calorie density is still insane. I am worried that I am not leaving enough room for carbohydrates which I know are important for training energy. My current split is roughly 35 percent fat.
Do you guys limit your nut butter intake when you are trying to gain mass? I am thinking about swapping some of it for more rice or potatoes. I love the taste but I want to make sure my diet is optimal for muscle growth, not just weight gain.
