Is It Safe to Take Pre Workout Every Day
I have gotten into the habit of taking pre workout before every single one of my gym sessions which is five days a week. I am starting to wonder if it is actually safe to take these high stimulant products every day. I feel like I cannot have a good workout without it now which is a bit concerning.
I am in the US and I am using a fairly strong formula with 350mg of caffeine plus some other stims. I am worried about the long term effects on my heart and my adrenal glands. Should I be taking breaks or having some non stim days to give my body a rest?
Do you take pre workout every day or do you save it for certain muscle groups like legs and back? I would love to hear how you all manage your supplement use. I want to be healthy for the long term and I do not want to become completely dependent on caffeine to function.
