Is Creatine Loading Phase Necessary for Fast Muscle Gains
I just bought my first tub of creatine monohydrate and the directions say I should take 20 grams a day for the first week to load it. That seems like a massive amount and I am worried it will mess with my stomach. I have read online that I can just take 5 grams a day and it will eventually reach the same level.
If I skip the loading phase am I losing out on muscle gains in the short term? I am trying to bulk up for the summer and I want to see results as fast as possible. I am training hard in New Jersey and I want to make sure I am doing this correctly.
Has anyone done it both ways? I would love to know if you felt a difference in your strength levels during that first week. I am trying to avoid the bloating that everyone talks about during a load.
