Is a Vegetarian Diet Good for Bodybuilding and Fat Loss
So I am thinking about going vegetarian but I still want to compete in figure competitions here in the UK. I am not ready to go full vegan yet because I love my Greek yogurt and eggs too much. I am wondering if anyone here has reached a high level of fitness on a vegetarian plan.
My main concern is whether I can stay lean enough during a cut without relying on chicken and white fish. I have been looking at Quorn products as a substitute but I am not sure about the macro profile for a contest prep.
Do you find that you have to eat a lot more volume to stay full? I would love to hear from any ladies in the group who have done a successful fat loss phase while staying vegetarian. It seems like it could be a challenge but I am eager to try it for ethical reasons.
