Is a Robot Vacuum Worth It for Pet Owners with Carpets
I have two dogs that shed constantly and I am tired of vacuuming my carpets every single day. I am considering buying a robot vacuum to help keep up with the pet hair. I am just not sure if they are powerful enough to actually get the hair out of the carpet fibers.
I have seen the Roomba and Roborock models that are specifically designed for pets. Some of them even have a self-emptying base, which sounds amazing. But they are quite a big investment. Is the suction power really comparable to a traditional upright vacuum?
I am also worried about the robot getting stuck on furniture or trying to eat a dog toy. I have heard the newer models have better obstacle avoidance using cameras and AI. Does that actually work in practice?
If you have pets and carpets, I would love to hear your experience with robot vacuums. Is it a life-changing purchase or just an expensive gadget that does a mediocre job?
