I have about four weeks before a big event and I want to drop about 8 to 10 pounds. I am considering doing a very aggressive mini cut with a large calorie deficit. I know it will be hard but I think I can stick to it for a short period of time.

Do you think a mini cut is better than just doing a standard slow cut for a longer period? I am worried about metabolic slowdown but I really want the fast results. I am planning to keep protein very high to protect my muscle.

Has anyone here done a successful mini cut recently? I would love to know what your calorie deficit was and how you felt at the end of it. I am in the UK and I am prepared to be very disciplined with my meals for the next month.
