Alright, this is probably going to stir the pot a bit, but I've been reading a lot about intermittent fasting (IF) lately. Mostly it's pitched for cutting or maintenance, but I've seen some guys on other forums claiming they're successfully bulking while doing IF, like a 16/8 schedule.

My brain immediately goes, "How?" When you're trying to hit 3500+ calories a day, cramming all that food into an 8-hour window seems like a monumental task, let alone ensuring you're getting consistent protein synthesis throughout the day. Conventional wisdom for muscle gain always emphasized frequent meals and a steady protein supply.

Has anyone here actually tried bulking on an IF schedule? What were your results? Did you find it sustainable? I'm genuinely curious if there's any merit to it, or if it's just making bulking unnecessarily harder. I'm a bit skeptical, but open to hearing real experiences, not just theories.
