I have been looking into individual amino acids to add to my training stack and I am very interested in L-Tyrosine. It is supposed to be great for mental focus and cognitive performance especially under stress. I am a busy professional in Toronto and I often find it hard to switch off from work and focus on my lifting.

What is the best dosage for Tyrosine in a pre workout context? I have seen some products use 500mg while others go up to 2 grams. I am also wondering if the N-Acetyl L-Tyrosine version is actually more effective as some brands claim. I want to feel dialed in and ready for my heavy sets.

Have any of you experimented with adding Tyrosine to your routine? I would love to hear about the effects you noticed on your mental clarity and your overall workout intensity. I am trying to build the ultimate focus focused pre workout stack!
