I have a set of light resistance bands at home and I am looking for how to use resistance bands for active recovery. I have heard that doing some very high rep movements with light resistance can help pump blood into the muscles without causing any further damage. I was thinking about doing some band pull aparts and light leg curls on my off days.

I want to stay moving but I do not want to impact my recovery for my main lifting sessions. I am also wondering if bands are good for stretching or if they are mainly for blood flow. I have seen some people use them to pull their limbs into a deeper range of motion during a stretch.

Does anyone have a full routine using only bands for recovery? I am looking for something that takes about twenty minutes and covers the whole body. I am in Canada and I find that bands are great for staying active when I cannot make it to the gym in the snow.
