How to Use Melatonin Without Feeling Groggy the Next Day
I really need help with my sleep but I am looking for advice on how to use melatonin without feeling groggy the next day. Every time I take even a small dose I feel like I am in a fog until lunchtime. I am in Canada and I am trying to find the perfect timing and dosage.
I have heard that taking it much earlier in the evening about three hours before bed might be better. I am also wondering if using a very low dose like 0.3mg is actually more effective than the standard 3mg or 5mg pills you find in the stores. I just want to fall asleep easily and wake up ready to train.
Have any of you mastered the art of using melatonin? I am curious about the different forms like time release vs immediate release. I would love to hear your protocols for getting a good night of sleep without the morning hangover!
