How to Use Lifting Straps Correctly for Maximum Grip
I just bought my first pair of lifting straps and I am struggling to use them correctly. I find it really difficult to get the second hand wrapped tightly around the bar when I am already holding the first one. I am training in Arizona and I really need them for my heavy rows and deadlifts.
I want to know how to use lifting straps correctly for maximum grip without it taking five minutes to set up. I have seen some videos online but it always looks much easier than it actually is. Is there a trick to doing it with one hand?
I am also worried about them slipping during the set. If you have any tips for getting a rock solid wrap please share them with me. I want to be able to focus on the movement rather than worrying about the bar sliding out of my hands.
