You don't! A deload is for recovery. Think of it as 'clearing the fatigue' so you can actually perform the next round of overload. I just record that I did 50% volume and move on.
Great advice everyone. I'm going to start a fresh log tomorrow focusing on Double Progression and RPE. Cheers!
