I have a history of getting a bit too obsessed with MyFitnessPal and I want to avoid that this time around. I want to bulk effectively but I do not want to weigh every single blueberry. Is there a way to track macros that is a bit more relaxed?
I am thinking of just tracking my protein and my total calories and letting the fats and carbs fall where they may. I have also heard of the hand portion method but I am not sure if that is accurate enough for a proper bulk.
How do you guys maintain your sanity while tracking your food? Are there any apps that are less intrusive or strategies that you use to make it feel like less of a chore? I want to enjoy my food while I am gaining weight, not feel like a slave to a spreadsheet.
