I have decided that it is finally time to get serious about my physique for the upcoming summer. I am around 20 percent body fat right now and I want to drop down to 12 percent. I am a bit overwhelmed by all the information out there and I am not sure where to start.
I have downloaded MyFitnessPal and I am planning to track every single thing I eat. My main question is whether I should drop my calories drastically at the start or do it slowly. I do not want to lose the muscle I have worked so hard to build over the winter in Chicago.
What has worked for you all when starting a new cut? I am currently 190 pounds and I lift four days a week. I would love to hear some simple tips for someone who is doing this for the first time properly.
