I have decided it is time to stop being a skinny guy and finally put on some size. I am very worried about the fat gain that usually comes with eating more calories. I want to learn how to start a clean bulk that prioritizes muscle over a big belly.

I am currently eating around 2500 calories a day and maintaining my weight of 160 pounds. I am thinking of increasing to 2800 calories to see what happens. I plan to stick to whole foods like chicken, brown rice, and olive oil rather than hitting the McDonald drive through every night.

Does anyone have a specific macro split they recommend for this? I want to stay relatively lean so I do not have to spend six months cutting later this year. I am also curious if you guys think tracking every single gram is necessary or if I can just eyeball it.
