How to Setup a Budget Home Theater System for Movies
I love watching movies but I am tired of the tiny speakers on my TV. I want to set up a decent home theater system but I only have about 500 dollars to spend. I am wondering if I should get a high-quality soundbar or try to put together a 5.1 surround sound system with a receiver and separate speakers.
I have heard that a good 2.1 setup can sometimes be better than a cheap 5.1 system. I am looking at brands like Vizio and Samsung for soundbars, but I am also tempted to look for used equipment on eBay or Marketplace to get more bang for my buck.
What are the most important things to focus on when building a budget setup? Is a subwoofer essential for that cinema feel? I also want something that is easy to set up because I am not very tech-savvy when it comes to audio wiring.
If you have a budget home theater that you are proud of, please share your setup! I would love some inspiration for my living room.
