I usually do my meal prep on Sunday afternoon but by Thursday the food starts to taste a bit weird and the texture goes off. I am worried about food safety and I really do not want to get sick from eating old chicken.
I am looking for tips on how to keep meal prep fresh for the entire work week. I have heard that some people freeze their meals for the end of the week. Does that work for things like rice and roasted vegetables or does it turn into a soggy mess?
What are your best storage hacks for keeping things crisp? I am in Texas and it is already getting hot so I need to make sure my lunch box is doing its job too. I would appreciate any advice on how to extend the life of my prepared meals!
