Protein prices are getting absolutely ridiculous lately. I am trying to hit 200g of protein a day and my grocery bill is through the roof. I am looking for ways to hit my protein goal on a budget without living on just tuna and eggs.
I have been buying frozen chicken breasts in bulk and looking for deals on minced beef. I am also using a lot of lentils and beans to pad out my meals. It is a struggle to keep the costs down while keeping the quality of food high.
Are there any secret cheap protein sources I am missing? I am open to suggestions for both the US and the UK since I travel back and forth for work. I really need to find a way to make this bulk sustainable for my wallet as well as my muscles.
