I have just started the carnivore diet after hearing a lot about it on various podcasts. I am only eating meat, eggs, and butter right now. My goal is to lean out while maintaining my muscle mass but I am finding it hard to track my macros correctly.
How much fat should I be eating versus protein? I am currently eating about two pounds of ground beef a day and some eggs for breakfast. I am worried that if I do not get the ratio right I will just feel sluggish all day.
Has anyone else here done carnivore for fitness goals? I am curious about how you handle your energy levels for heavy squats and deadlifts. I am also wondering if I should be adding in some organ meats like liver for the extra vitamins.
