How to Get Rid of Pre Workout Jitters and Anxiety
I love the energy I get from pre workout but lately I have been struggling with a lot of jitters and a weird sense of anxiety about twenty minutes after taking it. It makes it hard to focus on my sets because I feel like I cannot catch my breath. I am looking for ways to get rid of these side effects.
I am using a fairly high stim product right now. Should I be looking for something with L-Theanine to smooth out the energy? I have also heard that eating a small meal before taking it might help. I am in the US and I do not want to give up my pre workout but I hate feeling like I am having a panic attack at the squat rack.
Does anyone else deal with this? I would love to hear your tips for managing the overstimulation. Maybe I just need to lower my dose or switch to a different brand with a cleaner formula. Any advice would be a lifesaver!
