I have a lot of work lunches and social dinners here in London and it is making my tracking a nightmare. Most independent restaurants do not have calorie counts on the menu. How do you guys estimate your macros when you are out?
I usually try to find a similar meal at a chain like Wagamama or Nando and use their numbers but I know it is not perfect. I worry about the hidden oils and butter that chefs use.
Do you have any tips for staying on track while still having a social life? I try to stick to grilled protein and veg but even then it is hard to know the exact portions. I would love to hear how you guys handle these situations without being the person who brings a scale to the table.
