I am really struggling to find the right calorie number for my cut. I have used a few different online TDEE calculators and they all give me different results. One says I should eat 1800 calories and another says 1400. That is a huge difference!

I am a 30 year old woman and I work a desk job but I try to get at least 10000 steps a day. I do not want to starve myself but I also want to see progress on the scale. How do you all determine your true maintenance calories before you start a deficit?

Is a 500 calorie deficit still the standard for sustainable weight loss? I have heard that for smaller women it might be better to do a smaller deficit. I am trying to avoid the cycle of crashing and then binging because I am too hungry.
