How to Break In a New Leather Lifting Belt Quickly
I just got a brand new 10mm leather prong belt and it is as stiff as a board. I can barely get it through the buckle and it is digging into my ribs like crazy. I have heard that you can roll it up or use leather conditioner but I am afraid of damaging the leather.
I want to know how to break in a new leather lifting belt quickly so I can actually use it for my heavy sets this week. I have tried wearing it around the house but it is extremely uncomfortable. Is there a secret method that the pro lifters use?
I have seen some people say you should just keep using it and let the sweat do the work but I am looking for a faster solution. If you have any tips that will not ruin the integrity of the belt please share them with me. I am desperate to get this thing flexible.
