How Long Does Pre Workout Last Before the Crash
I am trying to time my pre workout better so I do not crash in the middle of my sessions. I usually take it about twenty minutes before I get to the gym but sometimes my workouts last for two hours and I feel completely drained before I am finished. I am wondering how long the effects usually last.
I am using a product with 300mg of caffeine. Does the energy peak at a certain time? I am also curious about the crash afterwards. Sometimes I feel great at the gym but then I am a zombie for the rest of the afternoon. I am in the US and I want to optimize my energy levels for the whole day.
Do you guys have any tips for making the energy last longer? I have heard that drinking a lot of water helps. I am also thinking about taking half a scoop at the start and the other half thirty minutes into my workout. Let me know what you think about the timing!
